“Meridianne”

Lisbon

Meridianne is a journey filled with synths, detuned voice morphs of 90s jungle on syncopated kicks straight from the gully. I’ve played a live session using 2 x Pioneer 800 CDjs as sampler instruments for effects. Below is a video of Meridianne LIVE x Mark Ijzerman during Temp Studio artist-in-residency May 2018.

Lucian Lupu is an artist, designer, and creative director, born in 1989 in Hîrlău, Iasi (Romania). He received a Master’s degree in Editorial Illustration, after graduating from Illustration at UAGE in Iași in 2012. By 2013, Lucian had already begun his design practice, based on a curriculum formed from notions of Art Nouveau and Minimalism, which taught him how to mix art, craft, and design. These theories merge with contemporary culture to form Lucian’s multidisciplinary approach today.
