Deogma is a fair deodorant, natural, plant-based and handmade. Inspired by the mystic expression of the creator’s African roots, I’ve designed each recipient to help illustrate various attributes of each recipe and designed a typeface that captures the spirit of the brand.

Deogma is a typeface I’ve designed in 2016, inspired by world symbols from all cultures, across all continents. It’s based on a modern sans but pushes to convey mysticism and authenticity through the illustrative characters inspired by ancient symbols and code.

Lucian Lupu is an artist, designer, and creative director, born in 1989 in Hîrlău, Iasi (Romania). He received a Master’s degree in Editorial Illustration, after graduating from Illustration at UAGE in Iași in 2012. By 2013, Lucian had already begun his design practice, based on a curriculum formed from notions of Art Nouveau and Minimalism, which taught him how to mix art, craft, and design. These theories merge with contemporary culture to form Lucian’s multidisciplinary approach today.
